Awarded the Willem Mengelberg Scholarship from the Concertgebouworkest foundation in Amsterdam, Florin Mantale is described as "one of the most promising Romanian pianists of his generation" (Viniciu Moroianu). In 2023, Florin Mantale made his debut at the Philharmonie Luxembourg, delighting the audience with an impressive recital consisting of Ravel's Gaspard de la Nuit among other exquisite works. Florin Mantale completed in 2021 his master's studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam under the exceptional guidance of Naum Grubert, where he was awarded the Jackques Vonk Fonds Amsterdam Scholarship for exceptional level.

Born and raised in Roman and later Iasi, Romanian pianist Florin Mantale leads an active international music career as a soloist, mastering a large variety of repertoire with "unique expressiveness" (Naum Grubert). He performed across Europe in various important venues such as the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven (The Netherlands), the Romanian Atheneum (Romania), BOZAR (Belgium), the Bulgaria Concert Hall (Bulgaria), and in Italy, Serbia, Spain, Scotland, England, and Luxembourg.

Florin received various awards, such as  Second Prize during final of San Donna Di Piave International Piano Competition in Italy,  The Public Prize during the Final of International Vriendcultuurprijs in Tilburg, (The Netherlands), The Public Prize during Maastricht Music Award 2019, finalist at Windsor International Piano Competition in UK 2019, 1st Prize during The National Olympics for piano 2015, 1st Prize at The International Festival of Hungarian Music in Bucharest 2014 (Romania), Jury's Prize during The 3rd Jenö Takács International Piano Competition in Oberschützen (Austria) 2014 and Béla Bartók Prize during the 7th Liszt-Bartók-Ligeti International Piano Competition in Sofia (Bulgaria) 2013.

 

Florin Mantale made his debut with the Romanian Ion Dumitrescu Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017, performing Mozart's 9th Piano Concerto in E flat major under the baton of Florin Totan as the Grand Prize Winner of the Irina Satchi Piano Competition in 2013 in Rm. Valcea, Romania. 2014 brought Florin Mantale 1st Prize at the Dinu Lipatti International Competition in Bucharest, 1st Prize at the National Music Olympics in piano, and Distinction Student of the Year 2014 among all the profiles and the best high schools in Iasi by the Romanian Inspectorate for Education.
